On June 13, 2024, Parangipettai Neithal Jeevidam 10k Farmer Producer Company Limited, in collaboration with the Agricultural Department, conducted a productive training session in Chinnakumatti village aimed at enhancing agricultural production through organic farming. The event attracted 30 eager participants from the community.
During the training, Agricultural Department representatives Mrs. Kalpana BTM, Mrs. Nandhini ADA, and Mr. Pradhu AAO provided comprehensive insights into the use and recommendations of organic fertilizers such as Azospirillum, Phosphobacteria, Pseudomonas, and Rhizobium. They also discussed the subsidy prices and the preparation of Panchakaviya, Vermicompost, and the importance of small millets. Additionally, participants were informed about various subsidies available through the department and the procedures for applying for them.
This initiative aims to foster organic farming practices and equip farmers with the knowledge and resources needed for eco-friendly agriculture.
