A seminar on Ethical Business was organized in Korattegere, Tumkur Region, Karnataka, on May 31, 2024. The event saw the participation of Federation Coordinators and people staff from the Tumkur Region.
The seminar was facilitated by Mr. Vasanthakumar, Regional Coordinator. Mr. Karthikeyan from DHAN CHRD provided insights on the concept of "ETHICAL," breaking it down into its key components:

- H for Holistic Approach for Fund Mobilization
- I for Increasing Productivity
- C for Consumer Mutuals
- A for Agro Advisory
- L for Legal Compliance
To ensure better understanding among the attendees, Mr. Ganeshkumar J. from Jeevidam Limited and Mr. Ramachandra translated the concept into Kannada.
Ms. Shanthi, Jeevidam Limited, shared the way forward for implementing Ethical Jeevidam practices in the Tumkur Region. She emphasized the importance of ethical business practices and outlined strategies to incorporate these principles into the operations of the Jeevidam federations.
This seminar was a crucial step in promoting ethical business practices and ensuring the sustainable growth of farmer producer organizations in the Tumkur Region.
