The Thirupathur Vayalaga Jeevidam Farmers Producer Company Limited organized a Farmer Field School (FFS) in Thekkur village, where 48 farmers actively participated in a training program which focused on advanced ploughing methods and the importance of seed treatment. This initiative not only improved the knowledge of farmers but also helped identify the demand for paddy seeds within the community.

In September, the FPO conducted a hands-on demonstration of Panchakavya preparation across four villages—Senbegapettai, Thirukalapatti, Aathikadu, and Thekkur. A total of 54 farmers benefited from this activity, resulting in the preparation of 100 liters of Panchakavya. This initiative raised awareness about the use of organic manure and its significant benefits for sustainable farming practices.
