Celebrating New Business Executives from Cuddalore Region

On the Foundation Day of DHAN Foundation, celebrated on 2nd October 2024, two promising Agri/Horti-business professionals graduated as Business Executives after completing their two-year apprenticeship in the Cuddalore region.

Jeevidam Limited, the livelihood initiative of DHAN Foundation, proudly congratulates Ms. Sakthimalar (M.Sc. Seed Technology) and Ms. Reena (M.Sc. Horticulture) on this achievement. They are currently serving as Jeevidam Integrators in Parangipettai and Keerapalayam respectively.

As Business Executives, they will play a key role in strengthening people-led businesses and livelihoods through Jeevidam Institutions. Their responsibilities include:

• Enabling market linkages for farmers and producers
• Establishing value addition units
• Promoting the Jeevidam brand and local products
• Supporting the implementation of Consumer Mutuals in collaboration with DHAN’s collective institutions in the region

Their graduation marks a significant milestone in building grassroots leadership for sustainable livelihood enhancement.
