By getting strategic guidance from Jeevidam, Suryapet Farmers Producer Company Limited has successfully established a Paddy Procurement Center (PPC) in collaboration with the Telangana State Civil Supplies Corporation.
This initiative ensures that farmers receive the Minimum Support Price (MSP) without the involvement of middlemen, with payments credited directly to their bank accounts within 48 hours. Suryapet FPC is the one of the Farmer Producer Companies to obtain a PPC license—setting a pioneering example for other FPOs across DHAN Collective Jeevidam Institutions.
Through this PPC, 183 farmers have benefited directly, securing fair prices for their produce. Additionally, the FPO has generated an income of ₹1.33 lakh as a service charge, marking a significant step toward sustainability and farmer empowerment.
