In November 2025, Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs promoted under the Jeevidam programme) organized PM-Kisan webcast screening events to coincide with the national launch of the 21st installment of the PM-Kisan scheme.M These community-level screenings enabled shareholders to collectively access and understand key government announcements, bridging the gap between national policy events and rural communities.
The Manaparai Vayalaga Jeevidam 10K FPO conducted a webcast on 19 November 2025 at Ayamporuvai villageb>, using video conferencing facilities to screen the official launch for its members. The event was organized in a shared community space, ensuring inclusive participation and group-level awareness. Similarly, the Lathur Vayalaga Jeevidam 10K FPO held a PM-Kisan meeting in Cheyyur village, with around 30 members participating in discussions focused on scheme entitlements and benefits.
The Uthamapalayam Farmers Producer Company Ltd also took part in the 21st installment launch, using the occasion to engage its members on government support measures and the importance of direct benefit transfer schemes.
These webcast screenings reflect the proactive role played by FPOs in facilitating digital inclusion and policy awareness among farmers. By creating shared access points for national events, the FPOs are helping ensure that members remain informed about central government schemes and can effectively benefit from available entitlements.
