The visit focused on assessing the progress of Little Millet procurement and honey marketing initiatives, two key livelihood interventions in the tribal ecosystem. Discussions with the FPO team helped identify procurement potential, expansion opportunities, and market readiness for the December–January business cycle.

As part of the visit, the team also procured 10 kg of wild honey from the FPO for marketing through Jeevidam Limited, reinforcing direct market linkage support to producer institutions. A detailed review of FPO registers and documentation, including stock, purchase, and sales records, was conducted to assess compliance, transparency, and preparedness for scaling up operations.

The engagement resulted in a joint business plan targeting a turnover of ₹1 crore during December and January, with clear role clarity between Jeevidam Limited and the FPO team. The visit strengthened coordination, improved clarity on documentation requirements, and laid the foundation for smooth execution of procurement and marketing activities in the coming months.
